You've Been on My Mind | Butterfly Gala

Happy Wednesday!
Today's project is a simple card but with a powerful sentiment - You've Been on My Mind. I love this sentiment because it can be used any time to just let someone know you've been thinking of them!! The Butterfly Gala bundle is available again so I hope you pick it up quickly if you don't already have it!! This is a MUST have set.  Especially if you picked up the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper that was a part of Sale-A-Bration.  I actually feel like you also need Beauty Abounds because these 2 sets work beautifully together!!

Beauty Abounds Shadow Box Card

Hi Everyone!
I'm super excited to share this fun card with you. It's a shadow box card and you can check out today's video to make your own.  I used the Beauty Abounds and Swirly Frames stamp sets.  Lemon Lime Twist, Mango Melody, Whisper White and Basic Black make for a very springy color combo!  

Card Dimensions:
Lemon Lime Twist Pieces:  1- 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 (score at 1/2", 4", 4.5" and 8"), 
 1 - 4 x 5 1/2, 1 - 1 x 5 1/4
Whisper White Layers: 2 - 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 & 2 3/4 x 4
Basic Black Layer: 3 x 4 1/4
I used the 3rd largest rectangle stitched shape to cut my window.

Beauty Abounds | Friendship Card

Happy Wednesday!
Today's project features the gorgeous Beauty Abounds bundle as well as one of my favorite color combos.  I used Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape which I LOVE together!  This card has a simple design but between the embossed background, stitched rectangles, and beautiful butterflies - I LOVE IT! Double Gate Fun Fold | Beauty Abounds

Hi Everyone!
I'm so excited to share today's fun fold project with you.  It's a double gate fold card featuring the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper.  Because the sheet of DSP I choose had butterflies, I paired it with the Beauty Abounds bundle.  Have you seen this bundle? The thinlits are amazing and has a huge butterfly die which can fill an entire card front or you can trim individual butterflies.  

Check out my step-by-step tutorial:

Card Dimensions:
Needlepoint Nook DSP - 5 1/2 x 12, score at 2, 4, 8, and 10.
Fold the 4 & 8 inch score lines in (valley fold)
Fold the 2 & 10 in score lines out (mountain fold)
For the diagonal cuts you may want to refer to video but I will do my best to describe it.  On the 12 inch side, you need to make a pen mark on each edge at 2 3/4. You will then match the top of score line and pen mark to cut on the diagonal.  
Flip the piece of DSP you cut off over and glue down on lower corners.
